We envision stakeholders sharing their services and programs on an online platform where participants have maximum choice, and maximum control of services at their own fingertips. Our vision includes providing opportunities for providers to share their expertise, and knowledge within the NDIS sector.
To ease the process for NDIS participants in finding suitable supports, aiming to minimise stress and complexity. This streamlined approach intends to increase participant engagement with the NDIS, benefiting both service seekers and providers. The ultimate goal is to enhance access to crucial services for individuals with disabilities, improving their quality of life.
We value knowledge sharing between all service seekers, sole traders, and bigger organisations in the NDIS space.
.
Whether youโre a sole trader, provider, service seeker or support coordinator, Ask AS passionately fosters a culture of fairness across the board – irrespective of gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or cultural background.
.
We empower service seekers to take the lead in decision making, and empower providers to promote their services.
.
Having lived experience, we are dedicated to making navigation easier for all stakeholders. We are passionate about clients finding their ideal service, and passionate about service providers and their contribution to the much needed care workforce.
.
This value underpins all other values of Ask AS; it forms the foundation of all our interactions. Without respect, meaningful work or progress cannot occur.
They have assisted service seekers with forging their way through the process of finding the right support, but have been through this process for their own family members as well. Ask AS knows the power behind asking for help, and this platform provides a place where service seekers can seek out the right service provider to meet their caring needs.
As providers, Ask AS has 5+ years of Support Coordination experience, inclusive of Specialist Support Coordination experience. In these spaces, they have gained valuable knowledge on the gaps between service providers and service seekers. Some of the main gaps were a lack of broader options when finding the right service provider and/or sole traders, limited promotion for programs/events in the community, inconsistency in NDIS knowledge between service providers, lack of advertisement for newer businesses and sole traders; and a lack of community between sole traders. The platform aims to address these gaps by allowing service providers and sole traders an equal opportunity of connecting with service seekers.
